Salah satu yang perlu diperhatikan oleh mahasiswa adalah bagaimana membuat laporan ilmiah yang benar. Laporan ilmiah merupakan pertanggungjawaban atas apa yang telah dikerjakan oleh seorang intelektual. Laporan ilmiah disusun sedemikian rupa dengan menggunakan struktur dan tata bahasa formal.

Oleh karena itu agar di masa depan kita bisa lebih memahami bagaimana membuat laporan ilmiah, ada baiknya su[aya tidak terulang dalam membuat laporan ilmiah sebaiknya tidak mencantumkan hal yang kurang resmi seperti foto mahasiswa Sistem Operasi semester genap 2008. Bukan tidak boleh, melainkan kurang tepat untuk ditampilkan dalam laporan ilmiah.
